ABOUT our lead photographer

Chicago’s premier event photographer

For over 10 years, Sally has been photographing events at Chicago's most notable venues.

Sally values imagery with heart. She strives to create photographs that feel genuine, capture connection, and tell a story beyond the moment itself. With a calm, guiding presence, she puts people at ease and creates space for moments to unfold that naturally communicate the energy of an event.

In college, Sally studied writing and journalism, an education that informs her photography perspective.

Her favorite place to be is skiing in Aspen or Jackson Hole, free diving in the ocean with whales and tuna or in their camper exploring rural Mexico.

Corporate, editorial and event photography for the modern, forward-thinking business.

Sally O’Donnell Photography was founded on the observation that Chicago businesses needed a more current, elevated approach to corporate and event photography. After seeing the same tired visual style repeated across countless events, Sally set out to create something different with imagery that feels fresh and on-trend while remaining polished, professional, and timeless.

Our approach puts the client experience at the center of everything we do. From on-camera flash and drone photography to crisp, refined editing, we combine current visual trends with thoughtful storytelling to create images that feel distinctly your brand

Whether we’re working with a growing small business or a large corporation, our goal is to make the photography process straightforward, organized, and easy. We know the right questions to ask before your event so we can anticipate your needs, capture the moments that matter, and ensure your coverage is complete. And with a focus on fast turnaround, you’ll have polished images ready to share with publications, on social media, and with your guests while the event is still fresh.
